Elastomers Part A are a black product for photovoltaic wet manufacturing processes requiring a wide range of chemical resistance. Elastomers Part A provides an excellent combination of properties (resistance to acids/bases) and is the product of choice for wet processes as an upgrade from standard elastomers, i.e., FKM, NBR, EPDM, etc. A maximum service temperature of 230°C is suggested.

Elastomers Part C is an exceptionally skin-compatible protective film made from cross-linked silicone rubber,specially developed for the healthcare industry. The ultrathin film is showing constant electrical resistance and goodcomparative tracking resistance across a broad range of temperatures. The width is 250 mm and thickness is given in μm(xxx). xxx stands for¢ 20 μm 50 μm 100 μm 200 μm 400 μm Elastomers Part C is also available with a thickness of¢ 10 μm and¢ 15 μm.The thickness variation over the entire width is +/- 1 μm. The production width is also 250 mm here.

MultiTech D has good electrical properties under humid conditions, superior heat resistance, and superior arc resistance. Typical applications include heating appliance insulation, welding equipment nozzle insulation, heat barriers and specialty bearing applications. MultiTech D also complies with MIL-I-24768/17, Type GSG and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-7.
