In personal care applications, DiTech Amphoteric Surfactant A exhibits foam and mildness synergies with common anionics and can be used in place of Cocamidopropyl Betaine to boost flash foam and reduce eye irritation potential. In HI&I applications, DiTech Amphoteric Surfactant A exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions and is stable in 19% sodium hydroxide. MultiTech Foaming Agent A is a high active, flowable paste that can be used in detergents, dishwash, laundry, shampoos, bath products, liquid hand soap, and industrial cleaners, and is buffered with carbonate. This 70% active 2-mole sodium laureth sulfate is an excellent foamer regardless of water hardness and has low skin irritation properties. It can also be used as an additive and scouring agent in textile applications and in a variety of agricultural applications.

MultiTech MultiFunctional I is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts MultiTech MultiFunctional I and 1 partMultiTech MultiFunctional I to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.
